RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This policy applies to purchases from Northern Rivers Rainwater Tanks Pty Ltd. It operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

We accept change-of-mind return requests for eligible standard products within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify, the product must be unused, uninstalled, unfilled, undamaged and in its original condition. Proof of purchase is required, and original packaging should be retained where reasonably possible.

Please contact us before returning anything. Because our products are large and bulky, returns must not be sent without receiving return instructions from us.

For approved change-of-mind returns:

• The customer is responsible for arranging and paying all return freight.
• No restocking fee applies.
• Any exchange redelivery costs are the customer’s responsibility.

The following products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

• Custom-colour products
• Special-order or modified products
• Tanks or products that have been installed, used or filled

These exclusions do not affect your rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Please inspect your order when it is delivered. If a product arrives damaged, is incorrect or appears faulty, contact us promptly with your order details and photographs where possible.

Depending on the circumstances and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, the available remedy may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty or incorrectly supplied, Northern Rivers Rainwater Tanks Pty Ltd will cover or reimburse reasonable return costs where legally required. Please contact us before arranging the return of a bulky product.

REFUNDS

Once an authorised return has been received and inspected, we will advise whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to process the refund.

No restocking fee is charged.

EXCHANGES

For an eligible change-of-mind exchange, the original product must first be approved for return. A replacement can then be arranged as a new order. Return and redelivery freight charges remain the customer’s responsibility.

Exchanges involving faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products will be handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

MANUFACTURER WARRANTIES

Any manufacturer’s warranty supplied with a product is additional to, and does not replace, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
